On a cheerier day than a year ago the group continued the tree and hedging planting scheme. They were ably assisted by the Cheriton & Alresford Scout Group.
Planting started in Upper Lamborough Lane. Here is Jan on an early specimen.
Here we have the morning’s work in a nutshell. The tubes are laid out for Upper Lamborough Lane. Broad Lane can be seen running to the left from the junction with the beech tree. The hedge line is the one between the two fields extending towards Cheriton Wood.
