The CCVG has been involved with planting trees in the Cheriton area for several years. The trees are vulnerable during their first three years so this morning’s effort, located in Upper Lamborough Lane and Broad Lane, gave each tree a trim around the base to clear the undergrowth. This will allow more moisture to get to the roots when rain comes – hopefully soon. The trees are looking healthy and this is seen as the final time that this needs to be done.
