The activity was concentrated on the stretch of the Cheriton Stream from the first bridge over the B3046 to Cheriton Green itself. This is the part of the stream sourcing in the pond behind Malthouse Farm. The river has become clogged with weed which is severely interfering with the downstream flow.

The upper section of the stream was severely clogged with weed.
A second channel was being created next to the retaining wall.
