The task was to plant a Mixed Farm Hedges around a new Wildlife Pond on Shorley Farm.

It turned out to be a wet and windy Sunday but the volunteers pressed on and completed the planting by lunch time.
Also opposite the new Wildlife Pond there is a pair of Red Kites nesting in the spinney and there was Skylark flying around the new pond, so Spring is on its way!
